Hey all! 👋
Welcome, glad to have you!
Before we get into the interview here’re a few news articles that I’ve found interesting this past week:
No-time Newsroom⚡
The Guy in Charge of Bankruptcy Calls FTX ‘A Complete Failure’ of Corporate Controls
TLDR:
FTX's new management team has secured and placed $740M worth of assets in cold storage.
Fund reimbursements are approved and declined via emojis 🤪💸👍
Consumer money was used to buy houses for SBF and employees
FTX had no HR department or basic bookkeeping, and that Bankman-Fried self-deleted messages when he communicated with executives.

TLDR:
Twitter is shifting to an engineer-driven operation. Employees were asked to commit to a new "hardcore" Twitter or leave the company with severance pay.
The email is expected to accelerate the dismissals of the remainder of Twitter's 7,500 employees.
NASA’s Artemis 1 mission is finally headed toward the Moon
TLDR:
The Space Launch System rocket, or SLS, took off at 1:47AM ET from Cape Canaveral.
Orion will continue onward to the Moon, where it will orbit for several days.
The SLS launch was also a test of NASA's most powerful rocket configuration yet. The first launch attempt on August 29th was scrubbed after Engine No. 3 failed to reach the correct temperature for fueling.
Now that’s done with, let’s kick it off! 🔥
First, just for an introductory thing for readers, can you tell us a little about yourself? 😁
Tim: I'm Tim - the founder of Pallyy. I'm a self taught programmer and built Pallyy as a solo founder over the last 3 years.
Can you give us an overview on the product that you're sharing today?
Tim: Pallyy - it's a social media scheduling, inbox & analytics platform.
How did you come up with this product idea?
Tim: I was pretty familiar with analytics, so I just joined an existing market that I knew was validated.
How did you find your first customers?
First customers came via a third party website that was a free Instagram analytics platform.
Tim: I reached out to the owner who agreed to divert their traffic to my site as their API access was expiring.
The traffic wasn't great but I did get my first users that way.
How do you find your customers today?
Tim: Mostly word of mouth, affiliates, SEO and Instagram marketing.
Can you share an approximate of how many users you currently have?
Tim: Currently we have over 25,000 users however only 700+ are paid. Trying to get to 1k paid!
Can you share some current revenue numbers?
Tim: Sorry, I don't share this however we usually add 2-3k MRR per month these days.
Lastly, do you have some insights that you can give founders who are just starting to look for their first users?💡
Stop trying to come up with a unique idea.
Just find a big market and join the fun, there's always room for more competitors, and being a solo founder you don't need the market share, just enough to keep you employed. 😁
Where can we go to learn more about you and your projects?
